The Great Wine:

A great wine is not simply the result of the combination of different favorable elements such as climate, soil and grape variety, it is also the fruit of the expertise, love and care of man and –of course– technical improvements. The production of Capezzana is based on a long tradition, dating back to the Middle Ages, has been passed on through the experience of many generations of winegrowers and wine-makers. Roccato Rosso Toscana IGT

Rosato-Maremma-Toscana-Igt

In 1988 the first bottle of Roccato, wine, imagined and built by Italian and Sergio made from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon in equal parts, is the essence of the path made by the company itself.

In fact, as Rocca delle Macie, which, starting from the tradition of the Chianti Classico is open to innovation while never forgetting its origin, so also the Roccato represents the meeting between the roots and the most typical of Sangiovese and Cabernet modernity symbolized by the barrels used for the refinement.

Enveloping and velvety wine with rich aromas of blackberries, plums and licorice has a good mineral component and a tannic structure that can sustain it for many years of aging.
