It also makes sense if you value lighting but want the option to turn it off, or might pair a second HD77 for left-right stereo. The battery is rated for up to 20 hours of playback per charge.
Who should skip it
Skip it if RGB lighting is unwelcome or if your plans require water protection beyond the IPX7 submersion rating. The stated limit is up to 3 ft (1 m) for 30 minutes.

TREBLAB HD77 Review Analysis
Outdoor water protection
IPX7 water protection makes the HD77 relevant for poolside, beach and light-rain use. Its submersion rating has a defined depth and duration, so buyers should keep it within that limit rather than treating it as unrestricted underwater audio.
Flexible sources and pairing
Bluetooth handles wireless listening, while the AUX-in port accommodates a non-Bluetooth source. TWS pairing adds the option of a second HD77 for left-right stereo, which is useful when a single portable unit is not the desired setup.
Battery and lighting choices
Up to 20 hours of playback per charge makes the speaker a candidate for longer outings, while USB-C provides the charging connection.
RGB effects can be disabled independently, letting buyers choose a simpler light-free setup and preserve battery life.
Portable use and calls
The design is intended for travel, hiking and day trips, and the built-in microphone supports hands-free calls.
Buyers who expect to take calls outdoors should check how the microphone handles their typical surroundings before relying on it for that use.
